We believe that dancing can enhance everyone's life, regardless of age; and that the dance studio is a classroom for the larger lessons of life: self-knowledge, respect, discipline, humility and most of all, kindness and compassion. Our instructors have very high expectations but pursue these expectations warm-heartedly.
Our goal for early education (ages 3 through 7) is to conservatively advance and build a foundation before moving into formal study. We give young students many opportunities for expression; we want to see them smiling, jumping, giggling and creating on their own.
As students progress, we hope to see them maintain their joy while developing their technical skills. Once a student reaches seven or eight years, we encourage as much exposure to dance as they desire. If they have a deep love of
dance, they can work towards higher skill levels. If they have professional potential, we will discuss this with you and recommend a course of study. Our advanced classes are meant to challenge dancers who have spent years in study and preparation for professional or pre-professional dance.
Our adult education philosophy allows anyone to walk through our doors. Many people are not interested in professional dancing, but want to exercise through
dance and give some time to themselves. Classes are relaxed and all levels are welcome. Our instructors know how the body moves at different ages, and we do not ask adults to become contortionists!
Regardless of your age, ambition or aspirations, we believe we offer the finest dance education available. It is our hope that you enter and leave our doors smiling...
