FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Why should I care so much about the level of professionalism at a school? My child probably won't grow up to be a dancer.
A: You never know what your child will grow up to do. If it should be dance, then he/she will have received the best education. If not, then the seeds of creativity, individual thinking, discipline and kindness towards others are instilled through dancing with us.
Q: Can my child move into the next level of study automatically?
A: The levels and ages listed in our schedules are just guidelines. We realize that each child is different and we move students through levels depending upon their interest and ability.
Q: Do you have competitions?
A: No. We are run as a professional academy, which embraces the notion that students study for many years and at an advanced level and then enter the world through the audition process.
Q: Do you have an annual recital?
A: Yes, usually in June. We believe that performance is part of the education process.
Q: Must I come in or can I drop off my child?
A: Although it is fine to drop off your child during lessons, we ask that you come in at least every other class so that we can keep you updated on studio activities, your child's progress and any changes.
